i had two weeks off between the summer and fall semesters, but now i'm back in full swing. i'll know soon whether i actually get paid to work in the lab instead of just volunteering. i need the extra cash and not to sit in the library for 8 hours every day. this town is more dead than the decaying matter that i work with, but then, we are all decaying in some way.
good news:
- i got an e-mail from one of the professors at mercyhurst, so i'm definitely visiting (for free!) over fall break. erg... pennsyl-tucky.
- there's a medicolegal training course through the university of st.louis in january that i really want to attend; for an extra $300 (plus $825 for the course), i could be certified... to do something in the medicolegal realm. probably just more letters tacked onto the end of my name. whee. at least it's good for grad school.
- for this upcoming summer, i'm debating on taking short summer classes at bournemouth or excavating a dig site per my desired location. the summer courses might be a better bet, that way i could decide if i rather go to grad school there.
my day is packed. back to classes.
