on the mormon front

we began cleaning the first of the 7 (?) dead pigs today. a tad smelly and a lot mucky. after boiling in a metal barrel for a few days, all of the flesh had fallen off, and we were left with the clayish muck to scrub off with toothbrushes. it's very similar to the top layer of pond soil. "muck" is the only word i can think of to describe it. you don't notice the smell after a few minutes, kind of like a fart, but the particles still reside.

we were told that the pigs were part of an experiment on the residual effects of chemical levels within a body postmortem. chemicals such as illegal drugs, anti-depressants, birth control, etc. these pigs weren't very large either - juveniles, maybe. the results of the testing showed levels that varied of the actually amount injected: some pigs had higher, lower, or equal levels, which begs many questions. the specific one in my mind pertained to the anti-depressants and various ranges of seratonin and dopamine in any given individual. dumbfucks, the range varies! how can they test that? and apply that to identical twin studies on schizophrenia... erg. i understand the purpose of animal testing, but this one wasn't well thought out. douche bags. but hey, free lab specimens for us. right?

one of my best friends from early childhood is mormon. i haven't had a real conversation with her since we were prepubescent children, but i recently found out she is pregnant. i went to her mormon wedding when we were 19 and her mom (who's not mormon) got tanked before, during, and after the ceremony. her father work(ed?) in swiss banking, was a neo-nazi, and mormon. wonder where that leaves her? i occasionally receive e-mails from her mom, who is super, and she updates me on life and what have you. so recently, i was sent pictures of pregnant sarah .

religion, as a whole, scares me; i don't even want to discuss it. hand me a few beers and i'll probably go on a tangent and start punching things, maybe you.

anywho...

here's pictures of the mom-to-be and the festering spawn soon to be indoctrinated, along with her lovely mother:
