felicitous education system

From 4 months ago:

i'm bored. i mean, i've got a lot on my plate; basically, it's not stimulating enough. not that i don't enjoy school. i crave education; however, my first three classes reiterate each other, and my other two i've taken previously at my other institution (i'm required to take them for the b.s.). the professor of the latter two classes evades close-minded comments instead of confronting and correcting them. they're anthropology classes!

anthropology:
1: the science of human beings; especially: the study of human beings and their ancestors through time and space and in relation to physical character, environmental and social relations, and culture
2: theology dealing with the origin, nature, and destiny of human beings

it's a learning institution! where's the neutrality?! teach them to be open-minded and objective, instead of continuing to reaffirm their inherent, socially-entrenched beliefs! i feel extremely uncomfortable even opting to contest with these kids' imbecilic remarks. and the teacher does nothing! she's one of those people with a creepy perma-grin face, sitting posed and idly on her desk, just smiling and nodding, acknowledging their ignoramus statements - instead of fucking correctly them! she could do it nicely - i KNOW it's possible.

i'm aware that you could argue the finer points of anthropology's ethics to discredit my frustration. as a social scientist, you cannot permit yourself to be in conflict with varying groups opinions. it's their belief, i should be aware of it, and not create tension. you wouldn't learn any more about the individual or the group if they hated you. i yearn to break down every minute, close-minded theory in their brains; but attempting to curb my sharp tongue is trying my patience here.

word of the day:
roister \ROY-stur\, intransitive verb:
1. To engage in boisterous merrymaking; to revel; to carouse.
2. To bluster; to swagger.

Roister is probably from Middle French rustre, "a boor, a clown; clownish," from Latin rusticus, "rustic," from rus, "country."

My fatuous classmates ruined the lecture with the roisterous behavior.
